Nordin Abdullah

    IMG-20150911-WA0000Aged 41, Nordin is an Australian businessman living in Asia, currently Managing Director of Glenreagh Sdn Bhd. He is well known for his creative approach to strategy and sustainable development which has been applied across various sectors.

    An active member of the business community Nordin was formerly the Vice President of the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is currently an Ex-officio EXCO member of the Malaysia Australian Business Council.

    Nordin recently established the Crisis Management Centre to assist individuals, corporations and governments effectively deal with all aspects of a crisis.

    Glenreagh Sdn Bhd organizes the Malaysia Global Business Forum, Tomorrow’s Leaders Summit, Kedah International Photography Awards. The next Malaysia Global Business Forum ‘Technology Week’ is a Business Matching and Networking program held between 26 to 30 September.

    Nordin was recently appointed Vice-President of the Malaysian Cricket Association. He recently established FIESA Pty Ltd for the benefit & promotion of Women’s sport globally.

    Prior to establishing Glenreagh, Nordin was the co-founder and Executive Director of a company which developed the Halal Food Guide Series, The Halal Journal, World Halal Forum of which Nordin was Deputy Chairman.

    A focused approach and keen understanding of the complex relationships between corporations, governments, academia, non-government organisations and the media, has allowed Nordin to lead the team at Glenreagh to create value for various clients.

    Prior to joining Glenreagh, Nordin was the co-founder and executive director of a communications company which works with halal producers to increase awareness of the potential of the halal market. Among the brands developed were: Halal Food Guide Series, The Halal Journal, Halal Journal TV, and the World Halal Forum, of which Nordin was Deputy Chairman.

    With a focused approach and keen understanding of the complex relationships between corporations, governments, academia, non-government organisations and the media, has allowed Nordin to lead the team at Glenreagh to create value for all the stakeholders.

    Recently named as one of the top “50 Expatriates you should know” by “Expatriate Lifestyle – Malaysia’s #1 Expatriate Magazine and was awarded the Anak Sarawak Appreciation Award for his significant contribution to Sarawak’s MICE industry.  While attending the International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) he captained the varsity basketball team and was part of the IASAS winning team and named two time All Tournament.

    Nordin speaks at conferences on topics such as “Food Security”, “Crisis Management & Crisis Communication”, “Halal”, “Community & Youth Development”, “Sustainable Development”. Nordin recently chaired two sessions at the Muslim World Biz Roundtable on “Innovation” and “Entrepreneurship” respectively
