Dato’ Jessie Yow was born in the 1970’s in Kuala Lumpur. Coming from humble beginnings born into a family of 7 siblings she was driven by the simple passion to create a better life for herself, her family and ultimately to provide a comfortable life for her parents.
Working very hard since her time in school, she recalls that during school holidays, “I’d work 2-3 jobs at a time, as a temporary factory staff, sales jobs on weekend and doing accounts for some companies, just to make ends meet”
At the age of 23 Dato’ Jessie established Brilliant Equity ventures Sdn. Bhd. a mortgage broker and insurance firm, the company was the ‘Top Mortgage Loan Producer’ nationally for consecutively 5 years, others awards included ‘Top Ten Life Insurance Planner’ for many years, 11 times ‘Million Dollar Round Table’ (MDRT) and 4 times ‘Court of the Table’ (COT) the hard work paid off, by the age of 26 she had reached her first financial goal and since then she hasn’t look back.
In 2010, expanding into property development Dato’ Jessie set up Sinar Intisari Development Sdn. Bhd. which is a boutique developer that now focuses on small and medium construction projects.
Dato’ Jessie received her Datoship from Sultan of Pahang in December, 2011.
In 2015 she ventured into the beauty industry with the establishment of Grant E One with partners from Japan which is the only authorised dealer for Grant E One, Japanese beauty products.
Also in 2015 Dato’ Jessie together with another partner took over Minori Japanase Restaurant Sdn. Bhd, following the relaunch of the restaurant it has received numerous awards and excellent reviews from the food and lifestyle media including the Tattler, The Star and many of the leading food bloggers in the country.
With the mission for parents accomplished, Dato’ Jessie continues to strive to be a better person and staying true to her upbringing has made it her mission in life to help more unfortunate people.
