KLCC Runners announce partnership with Twin Towers Fitness Centre to create community health and fitness programs

KUALA LUMPUR 30th APRIL 2019: KLCC Runners Group, Malaysia’s biggest running community, today announced a partnership with Twin Towers Fitness Centre, Kuala Lumpur’s Premier Health & Fitness Facility in Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur.

The working partnership will be organising community running events in collaboration with DBKL, during KL Car Free Morning (1st & 3rd Sunday monthly) & weekly training, clinics, workshops and other fitness related activities.

The first community running event that will be organised under the new partnership will be the KLCC Runners Group, 3rd Anniversary Community Run & Zumba Powered By Twin Towers Fitness Centre, on Sunday 5th May 2019.  It is expected that over 1,500 friends & families to joining the fun starting at 6.30 am in Dataran DBKL, Jalan Raja Laut, KL.

Recent figures released by the World Health Organization (WHO) listed Malaysia as the fattest nation in Asia, with other related problems like high blood pressure and diabetes following in the wake of obesity.  This has had a negative impact on both social conditions and the economy through loss of productivity, the KLCC Runners Group is doing its part to improve the situation, one step at a time.
