The 21st CILTM Convocation of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Malaysia (CILTM) was held on 18th November 2023, Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC). CILT is the leading global membership organisation for everyone who works in supply chain, logistics and transport industry. The Institute’s Qualifying Examinations are internationally recognised professional transport and logistics qualification of a high educational standard.
CILTM Convocation to celebrate the graduation of several alumni from Malaysian universities, colleges, and professional associations spread throughout the state. A total of 320 graduates will receive their membership (MILT) grade this year, 117 professionals including senior officers from the Royal Malaysian Navy and Royal Service Corps will confer CMILT grades, and 27 will receive the FCILT.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Teete Owusu-Nortey, President Elect of CILT International and CILT Malaysia Management Councils. According to Prof. Ts. Dr. Muhammad Zaly Shah FCILT, CILTM has been appointed as a Strategic Partner of Ministry of Higher Education and National Industrial Lead Body (ILB) for the Logistics & Transport Sector. This is an exclusive and privileged appointment by Ministry of Higher Education and Department of Skills Development (DSD), under Ministry of Human Resource which aims to supports the national aspiration to develop and upgrade the competency skills and capabilities of personnel working in the Logistics & Transport Sector in Malaysia.
The institute brings unique benefits and international qualifications with the standards from an international organisation that has held a Royal Charter since 1926. CILT graduates are globally recognised by the world logistics and transport industry in 39 commonwealth countries all over the world.
