According to a report by CS&A International and PR News in 2019, nearly 62% of firms had crisis plans, but how many were revised on a daily basis were unclear. Nearly 60% of intermediary and executives surveyed indicated that they never performed a crisis exercise or didn’t know how many times their businesses did crisis exercises.
There are three things that a business can do to better protect them from the crisis:
- Prepare for multiple crisis situations
- Check the plans with drills and exercises
- Evaluate the plans to reflect the lessons from the drill session
