The inaugural Solarvest Pickleball Cup 2025, an event powered entirely by clean energy, concluded over the weekend at Picklefy, Shah Alam in Selangor, Malaysia. The tournament, featuring more than 450 players from 12 countries, made history as Malaysia’s first-ever pickleball event powered entirely by renewable energy. The participating countries include Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, Myanmar, China, and Laos.
Throughout the two-day tournament, players competed across four categories: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Men’s Singles.
The event combined a balance between competitive spirit and environmental consciousness, featuring sustainably crafted, fully recyclable medals by official medal partner NatureLoop Malaysia and engaging test drives by Auto Bavaria of BMW’s electric models, including the i4, i5, iX2, and iX50, to promote clean energy and sustainable mobility.
Winners took home more than RM35,000 in cash prizes, Sypik paddles, and limited edition Solarvest Pickleball Cup Puma Jerseys. The event’s success was made possible with the support of Solis as the Platinum Sponsor, and Oceansport (Puma Authorised Dealer) and Sypik Malaysia as Gold Sponsors.
