Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) and Krambit, a local sports apparel manufacturer, have embarked on a cohesive partnership that will see particularly the national senior men’s and senior women’s team as well as the age group teams adorn new sets of cricket apparel for its host of matches for the next two years.
This is the first time in which Malaysian Cricket Association, has entered into a partnership for player’s apparel. In addition to apparel, Krambit will produce a range of merchandise for fans.
This integral two year partnership, closes the gap between quality and affordability while all designs will be exclusively tailored made for Malaysian Cricket and the final design will be owned by Malaysian Cricket Association.
Speaking on behalf of the women’s cricket team, Winifred Anne Duraisingam, the national women’s captain said, “The girls are indeed happy to know that there is now a corporate sponsor for their cricket apparel and merchandise.”
Winifred added, that she hoped this sponsorship, “is a step in a direction that will attract more corporate partners to come on board and enhance the growth of cricket in Malaysia.”
The Malaysian men’s national cricket team captain Ahmad Faiz Bin Mohammad Noor stated “The team and I are thrilled to learn of the partnership with Krambit, I believe that this is a stepping stone and our teams will soon receive more sponsors and partners and this will be a boost to our performances as well.”

He added “considering that our matches will be live-streamed through Fancode to India, the Indian subcontinent including a wider global audiences, the reach for our brand is far and wide.”
