The Election Commission of Malaysia (EC) announced that applications for election observers for the 15th General Election (GE15) will be open from today, 11 October 2022, and will close on 21 October 2022.
EC Secretary, Dato’ Indera Ikmalrudin Ishak, said, “Observers are allowed to make observations for election processes such as candidate nomination process, campaigning, early voting, voting process and vote counting and vote tallying up to the declaration of election results.”

“Those who are interested in participating in this programme must submit their applications before the application closing date,” reminded Ikmalrudin.
Applications as observers representing organizations are subject to the conditions set. More information and the application form are available on EC’s official website.
