The expansion was recently highlighted by the successful “RRBO New Product Presentation” hosted by Moty’s TRIBO JAPAN Co., Ltd., a premier Japanese lubricant and performance oil specialist on 13th February 2026. The event marked the formal introduction of Pentas Flora’s RRBO technology to Japanese industry leaders, showcasing a new era of high-performance lubricants that do not compromise on environmental responsibility.
Redefining Lubricants for the Japanese Market
Japan is globally recognised for its stringent quality standards and commitment to “Monozukuri” (the art of manufacturing). By introducing its Group II+ and Group III RRBO, Pentas Flora is meeting the growing demand for sustainable raw materials that match the performance of virgin base oils.
Key highlights of the expansion include:
- Technological Synergy: Leveraging Pentas Flora’s advanced re-refining processes—which achieve up to an 81% reduction in carbon footprint compared to virgin stock—to support Japan’s “Green Transformation” (GX) goals.
- Strategic Local Presence: Through Pentas Flora Japan (based in Saitama), the group is providing localised support, ensuring a seamless supply chain of eco-friendly base oils for Japanese blenders and manufacturers.
- Quality Assurance: Pentas Flora’s RRBO is certified by the Singapore Green Label and Malaysia’s MyHIJAU, ensuring it meets international ASTM standards required by high-performance Japanese automotive and industrial applications.
