Titled “Must Know, Must Do, Must Teach”, which references one of Tan Sri Lim’s foundational philosophies, the biography records his inspirational journey from his hometown Titi in the district of Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan, to his current role at the helm of Top Glove Corporation, the world’s leading manufacturer of gloves. The English version has been warmly received since its debut in November 2024. With the launch of these new editions in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin, Tan Sri Lim hopes to make his life story accessible to more Malaysians, a tribute to the nation’s rich multicultural heritage and others.

On the motivation for his biography, Tan Sri Lim remarked, “I see this as an opportunity to contribute positively to people, communities and society by sharing my experiences and insights. By imparting what I’ve learned, I aim to help others grow and succeed, just as I have benefited from those who shared their knowledge with me.”

“This book is not just about me or my journey; rather, it is about the good values of perseverance, hard work, discipline and integrity that are shared across our communities and societies. It also highlights the importance of good health and giving back. By presenting it in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin as well, I hope many more readers will find lessons and inspiration in their own language,” he added.

The intimate launch event, attended by representatives of Malay and Chinese language media as well as local book distributors, reflected Tan Sri Lim’s desire for a personal and meaningful occasion. Guests were given an exclusive first look at both language editions, which feature additional photos and updated information.

The new language editions will be available for purchase online at Top Glove’s ecommerce platform TGeBuy, Top Glove’s official store on Shopee and Lazada, as well as through major bookstores and distributors in Malaysia.
