According to latest statement, 27 Group has been successfully delivering projects and advisory services management consultancy and built environment. To further push boundaries, moving into the digital era, 27 Group sets up 27 Digital to complement and provide value-based solutions to clients.

27 Digital will be focusing is on the digital transformation and venture building. Digital platforms are transforming the world today and for organisation to scale and succeed, they must adapt and look at platform business models. It needs to be consumer-centric, data-driven, and innovative to uncover new revenue opportunities that can set them apart and create impact.

“Most organisations focus on digitisation, which is also important to be efficient organisations, but this will not improve their growth and bottom line in the long run. We want to help our clients stay relevant while focusing on their strategy and assist them with their digital transformation journey. The pandemic has accelerated the use of digital by all organisations and governments in the areas of communication, collaboration and digitalisation. As we move into 2021, it is a good time to access what worked did not and then plan forward,” said Harish, Head of 27 Digital.

Although the setup is relatively new, the team at 27 Digital have been working on several digital projects across 2020. A notable report produced was the National 4IR Report with some of the key highlights to accelerate 4IR technology innovation and adoption and forge a connected nation through digital infrastructure development.

“Smart Cities are the main stage where 4IR technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Block Chain and Internet of things can change and improve cities, infrastructure and the needs of the community. Smart Cities require planning, strategy, and collaboration of many strategic partners, leaders, businesses, government, society, and economic areas. In 2021, we will see several Smart City projects and initiatives in Malaysia that will drive 4IR adoption. We are involved with some of these projects, and our teams are ready to work with organisations, government agencies and ministries to plan, facilitate and support this development,” said Harish.

In solving issues of various industries, 27 Digital is looking to set up its own digital ventures and platforms to address some of these issues using 4IR technology. Their very first ventures will be focusing on Agritech, to help solving issues faced by plantations and farms locally as well as globally. “We will be launching our very first venture in Agritech this year and we are confident that our platform and solutions will be able to address some of the key issues in harvesting, decision making, and labour shortage faced by many plantation owners, not only in Malaysia but also in other parts of the world” he adds.

The agriculture sector has been one of the heated topics on the local and global level and the team at 27 Group have been working on many projects related to agriculture and have accumulated a wealth of data, knowledge from having many key personnel and industry captains who have rich experience in agriculture. Apart from Agritech, 27 Digital will also be looking to launch various other ventures and platforms in construction technology, fintech as well as e-learning.
