FEV3R flies Malaysia’s flag at Startup World Cup Southeast Asia 2025

Healthtech startup to compete in Jakarta for a shot at Silicon Valley and USD1 million prize

FEV3R, a homegrown healthtech startup, is Malaysia’s sole contender in the Southeast Asia regional round of Startup World Cup 2025, organised by Pegasus Tech Ventures and Lestari Indonesia.

Only 10 startups advanced from a competitive pool of ventures across Indonesia, Singapore and Cambodia, with FEV3R proudly representing Malaysia at the Jakarta showdown on 29 August. Winners from regional rounds will battle in Silicon Valley, USA, where the global champion secures a USD1 million investment and global spotlight as a potential unicorn.

“To be recognised among APAC’s top 10 during Merdeka month is an honour beyond words,” said FEV3R chief executive officer Adlan Hercus. “As anak Malaysia, we carry not just our vision, but the hopes of a nation into Jakarta and hopefully into Silicon Valley.”

The Startup World Cup, spanning more than 100 countries, is one of the world’s most prestigious platforms for emerging ventures. FEV3R’s selection reflects both its rising regional presence and the growing maturity of Malaysia’s innovation ecosystem.

FEV3R is a healthcare-as-a-service company delivering affordable e-patient services through a digital-first subscription model. Its solutions help employers and individuals reduce the cost and complexity of accessing primary healthcare.

This Merdeka, FEV3R’s achievement adds another feather to the nation’s cap, showcasing how Malaysian ingenuity can thrive on the global stage.
