Since the partnership began in 2023, Jobstreet by SEEK has supported TARA Foundation by sponsoring 50 complimentary job advertisements to date. This has helped the organisation successfully recruit staff members, enabling its centres to serve more than 1,000  students nationwide.

Under this renewed partnership, Jobstreet by SEEK will continue sponsoring complimentary job advertisements for the tutors, administrators, and support staff TARA Foundation requires to operate its 29 learning centres across Malaysia.

The renewed agreement extends through 31 July 2026, giving TARA Foundation free access to Jobstreet by SEEK’s latest hiring innovations: AI-assisted job description writing, seekAi’s high-fit candidate prediction, analytics and SEEK Pass for verified credentials. These upgraded tools help TARA Foundation reach the best candidates faster, allowing its centres to focus on supporting students rather than managing lengthy hiring processes.

Supporting TARA Foundation’s Mission to End School Dropouts in B40 Communities

TARA Foundation’s “Mission Zero Dropouts” programme focuses on reducing school dropout rates among students from low-income, or B40, communities by providing structured academic support, nutritious meals and a safe environment to learn and grow.

Nearly 99 per cent of students who drop out come from B40 families, due to barriers to education such as poverty, lack of parental support and unconducive home environments that significantly increase their risk of leaving school prematurely. This underscores the critical role of NGOs like the TARA Foundation, which provide ongoing academic and emotional support to vulnerable children to help them stay in school and succeed. As the organisation expands to meet rising demand, the need for passionate and qualified talent has grown significantly.

“Our centres depend on committed educators and administrators who believe in the potential of every child. Jobstreet by SEEK’s support has been invaluable in helping us reach and recruit the best people to serve our growing number of centres,” said Krishna Raj, Human Resources Director at TARA Foundation.

    Empowering Purpose-Driven Hiring

Jobstreet by SEEK’s CSR efforts are grounded in the belief that communities thrive when more people gain access to purpose-driven roles and education. By supporting organisations like TARA Foundation, Jobstreet by SEEK continues to bridge gaps in talent accessibility, enhance future skills development and strengthen local impact through purpose-driven partnerships.

With  Jobstreet by SEEK’s continued support, TARA Foundation has access to newly launched recruitment tools such as AI-powered matching and verified candidate profiles, helping the organisation attract higher-quality applicants and streamline the hiring process. Early outcomes show a more diverse pool of candidates applying within a shorter timeframe, alongside stronger alignment between job requirements and applicant skillsets. This uplift in both speed and quality of hiring demonstrates the tangible value delivered through the collaboration.

“As an organisation built to help every Malaysian find meaningful careers, supporting TARA Foundation is deeply aligned with our mission,” said Nicholas Lam, Managing Director at Jobstreet by SEEK. “Their work empowers the next generation, and we are honoured to help ease their hiring process so they can focus on what they do best: transforming lives.”

Driving National Impact through Community Partnerships

This CSR collaboration complements Jobstreet by SEEK’s commitment to national workforce development as well as its broader efforts to uplift underserved communities, champion youth and semi-skilled talent, and promote fairer and more inclusive hiring practices.

This partnership also reinforces Jobstreet by SEEK’s focus on purpose-driven collaboration and its role in enabling all organisations — big or small, corporate or non-profit — to find the best talent efficiently and sustainably.
