FastJobs Malaysia supports youth and the arts through the “Blank Canvas: Mural Art in Taman Rimba WoodHAVEN” Initiative

FastJobs Malaysia, a leading online job portal, is proud to announce its support for youth and the arts through its sponsorship of the “Blank Canvas: Mural Art in Taman Rimba WoodHAVEN” project (Blank Canvas Project). This initiative aims to promote community engagement, artistic expression, and beautification efforts within the region.

The first phase of the project took place on 10th and 11th June 2023, followed by the second phase from 19th to 22nd June 2023. The project brought together a total of 170 members from Penang Youth Volunteers, guided by Mr. Norshahidan Bin Mohamad, a renowned fine arts lecturer and an alumnus of the School of The Arts, Universiti Sains Malaysia (SOTA USM). This collaboration between the local community, educational institutions, and FastJobs Malaysia showcases the power of teamwork in fostering creativity and community spirit.

FastJobs Malaysia’s sponsorship was designated for the creation of an awe-inspiring mural that stretches across 219 meters horizontally and stands at a height of 2.1 meters. The mural showcases a captivating fusion of natural and abstract ideas, infusing the Taman Rimba WoodHAVEN locality with vibrancy and visual allure. This sponsorship underscores FastJobs Malaysia’s dedication to backing endeavours that enrich the cultural surroundings and generate a favourable influence within the community.

The “Blank Canvas Project” serves as a testament to the power of art in bridging communities, creating a sense of belonging, and sparking conversations. It not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the area but also encourages public engagement and interaction with the art form.
