An upcoming art exhibition in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is set to shine a creative light on some of the most pressing issues of our time. From 18 April to 5 May 2025, the ESG Art Exhibition will transform the KLIA Ekspres Arrival Hall at KL Sentral into a public platform for dialogue around sustainability, social justice, and ethical governance.
Organised by Art Market Malaysia in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability and strategic partner KLIA Ekspres, the exhibition gathers Malaysian artists under one roof to explore the transformative power of art in the context of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) themes.
With the tagline “Unifying Communities for Climate Survival – Inspiring Change through Art”, the event aims to inspire collective action and emotional connection through creative expression.
“Art can visualise complex ESG challenges, such as climate change or social inequality, in a way that resonates emotionally with diverse audiences,” organisers said in a statement. “Supporting local artists and sustainable practices further demonstrates a commitment to responsible governance, amplifying the role of creativity in shaping a more equitable and resilient future.”
The Opening Ceremony on 18 April will be officiated by Puan Norsham Abd Latip, Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability. Admission is free and open to the public.
In a unique twist, the exhibition will also feature a rare public viewing of the Proton e.MAS, Malaysia’s concept electric vehicle — a symbol of the nation’s green innovation and aspirations for a low-carbon future.
The strategic location of the exhibition at KL Sentral ensures high visibility to both local commuters and international travellers, promising an engaging and thought-provoking experience for all who pass through.
